Jimmy Chin is one of the world’s most accomplished adventure photographer-filmmakers. His most recent film, Meru, won the Audience Choice Award at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival, and made the shortlist for an Academy Award for Best Documentary. A professional climber, mountaineer, skier, director, photographer and filmmaker, Jimmy has collaborated with, filmed and photographed some of the world’s most progressive athletes and explorers, while participating in breakthrough expeditions around the planet. He’s skied from the summit of Mount Everest, and climbed the Shark’s Fin on Mount Meru in India. The previously unclimbed route had seen more attempts and failures than any other route in the Himalayas before his team successfully completed it in 2011.
